Japanese Finance Minister Taro Aso says economy clearly in recovery phase

TOKYO: Japanese Finance Minister Taro Aso said on Tuesday that the economy is clearly in recovery as corporate profits are at a record high and wages are rising.

Aso, speaking to reporters, said he hopes private-sector companies understand the need to invest their large cash reserves by raising capital expenditure or workers' salaries.
