LOS ANGELES: " Star Wars" makers Lucasfilm and Disney have filed a lawsuit against a cuff link company for designing products, featuring various characters from the movie, without permission.

According to the documents, Disney has demanded the company to stop production of the links, reported TMZ.

The cuff links in question, however, are no longer for sale on the Cuff Daddy site.

Disney has also demanded the company three times the profits made off the merchandise.

Cuff Daddy said it acquired the links from suppliers, who were licensed to make it.

"Star Wars" enjoys a line of merchandise such as toys, mugs, Darth Vedar costumes, bags, clothes and house accessories
