Disney crosses $1 bn at the domestic box office
The Walt Disney Studios has crossed the $1 billion mark at the domestic box office in a record time of 174 days.

Driven by the success of "Marvel's Avengers: Age Of Ultron", " Cinderella", and the opening of Disney-Pixar's latest animated entry " Inside Out", Disney broke the previous 188-day record set on July 8, 2012, reported Deadline.
This marks the 10th consecutive year, and the 19th year overall that the studio has reached this milestone.
Disney-Marvel's "Avengers: Age Of Ultron", which has nabbed an estimated $450.4 million will enjoy its reign atop the domestic box office as the No 1 champ only for a few more days as "Jurassic World" is right behind it with $436.8 million, soon to take over this weekend.
With "Inside Out" crossing $100 million two days ago, the studio currently has three films still playing in the marketplace over that mark.
The studio's "Cinderella" is expected to cross $200 million this weekend and soon will be in the Top Five highest grossers of this year so far.
