* Tan will take on the role while continuing to serve as head of Asia Pacific consumer and retail investment banking.
* He will move to Singapore in the third quarter and report to Peter Guenthardt, head of Asia Pacific global corporate and investment banking, and Martin Siah, head of Southeast Asia global corporate and investment banking and Singapore country executive.
* Tan joined Bank of America in 2020 and has led the growth of its Asia Pacific consumer and retail investment banking business.
* Antonio Puno, the current head of Southeast Asia investment banking, will move from Singapore to London in the third quarter to join the bank's Europe, Middle East and Africa financial sponsors investment banking team.
* Puno joined the bank in 2006 and has more than 25 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and leveraged finance.
