Bain & Co has been named a “Global Premier” partner in Anthropic’s Claude Partner Network.

Bain & Company on Tuesday announced a global partnership with artificial intelligence company Anthropic to help businesses move beyond experimental AI projects and deploy the technology across their operations.

The consulting firm said that the partnership would combine its industry and business transformation expertise with Anthropic’s Claude AI models to support clients in areas including AI strategy, technology modernisation and AI-enabled operations.

Bain has been named a “Global Premier” partner in Anthropic’s Claude Partner Network. The two companies are already working together on client engagements across multiple industries and expect to expand the collaboration into other areas where AI can deliver measurable business outcomes.

“Our partnership with Anthropic brings together its frontier AI technology with Bain’s deep strategic and industry expertise to help clients turn the potential of AI into meaningful business results,” said Philippe d’Arabian, executive vice president and global head of partnerships at Bain & Company.

“By bringing Anthropic into our ecosystem, we’re giving clients access to leading AI capabilities alongside the expertise needed to deploy them effectively and translate that technology into lasting business value,” he added.

The tie-up builds on Bain’s own enterprise-wide deployment of Claude. More than 7,000 Bain employees were actively using the AI platform within weeks of its introduction during the pilot phase, according to the company.

Bain employees are using Claude.ai, Claude Cowork, Claude Code and Microsoft Office plug-ins for tasks such as research, building and testing complex models, pressure-testing assumptions and analysing different business scenarios.

More than two-thirds of participants in the pilot phase also adopted Claude’s Excel add-in, Bain said.

The company said its rollout included employee training, onboarding materials, webinars and expert support, alongside governance measures to monitor adoption and user feedback.

“The speed and breadth of that adoption signal what's possible when the right technology is paired with the expertise to deploy it effectively, and that's exactly what this partnership delivers for Bain's employees and clients,” said Steve Corfield, global head of business development and partnerships at Anthropic.

Bain is pursuing partnerships across the broader AI ecosystem while continuing to invest in proprietary and industry-specific AI tools. Its digital teams include more than 1,500 specialists across AI, data, analytics, architecture and engineering.

The consulting firm said that in engagements involving complex legacy codebases with limited architectural context, it had helped clients achieve productivity gains of 30% to 50%, compared with gains of 15% or less that it said were typically reported in the wider market for such work.

The partnership comes as consulting firms and technology companies increasingly look to position themselves as implementation partners for businesses seeking to turn generative AI investments into operational and financial gains. For Bain and Anthropic, the collaboration gives the AI company a stronger channel to large enterprises while adding another frontier AI provider to Bain’s expanding technology partner ecosystem.
