Apple phases out iPad 2, relaunches iPad 4 with retina display to replace it

The fourth generation iPad features a 9.7-inch Retina display, an A6X chip, Wi-Fi, a 5MP iSight camera which also captures 1080p HD video, a FaceTime HD camera. iPad with Retina display comes with iOS 7.
iPad with Retina display is available in black or white in 16GB Wi-Fi and 16GB Wi-Fi + Cellular models. A cover and case for iPad with Retina display are available in dark grey.
The iPad 4 is available at $399 for the 16GB Wi-Fi model and $529 for the 16GB Wi-Fi + cellular model at all four major US carriers. The India-specific pricing is yet to be announced.
The fourth-generation iPad was launched in 2012, while the iPad 2 was launched in 2011.
Apple discontinued the iPad 4 and reduced the price of iPad 2 to $399 last year when it launched its current flagship tablet, the iPad Air.
Apple's iPad line-up also has the iPad Air, which is available in silver or space grey in 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB Wi-Fi models and in 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB Wi-Fi + Cellular models.
iPad mini with Retina display are available in silver or space grey in 16GB, 32GB, 64GB, 128GB Wi-Fi models and 16GB, 32GB, 64GB, 128GB Wi-Fi + Cellular models. Additionally, the original iPad mini is available in 16GB Wi-Fi and 16GB Wi-Fi + Cellular models.
