BPO firm EXL Service's September quarter profit rises to $13.2 million
BPO company EXL Services today posted a net profit of USD 13.2 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2013 compared to USD 11.7 million for the same period a year ago.

Revenues for the quarter ended September 30, 2013 rose to USD 122.3 million compared to USD 112.6 million in the year-ago period, the Nasdaq-listed firm said in a statement.
The company has offices in six Indian cities, including Delhi NCR and Pune.
EXL said it won eight new clients during the quarter, including four outsourcing clients and four transformation clients.
Commenting on the results, Rohit Kapoor, Vice Chairman and CEO, said, "In the third quarter EXL showed acceleration across our businesses. In particular, transformation services reported 21 per cent sequential revenue growth, fueled by robust growth in decision analytics."
"In addition, our platform technology businesses posted strong growth. Both decision analytics and platform technology are key investment areas, and we are pleased to see them generating strong returns," he said.
The company had a total headcount as of September 30, 2013 to 21,372.
