Who killed Richard Wills? Mystery deepens over missing Victorian man who was shot dead and buried at his farm
A Victorian man, 65-year-old Richard Wills, was found fatally shot and buried in a shallow grave on his rural property in Ouyen. Police are investigating the "suspicious death" as foul play, seeking public assistance to identify those responsible ...

After he failed to return home for lunch, suspicions grew, prompting his family to search the property. The next day, with him still missing, his wife reported him to authorities. Police searched the property and discovered Wills' body around 1:30 p.m. on April 7.
Police launched an investigation into the matter and were told that he was leaving for work on his rural property on the Mallee Highway. He had been fatally shot and buried in a "shallow grave" on his farm, 9 News reported.
Police reckon he died due to foul play and are still investigating to find the motive and those responsible for his killing. Speaking on the case, Detective Senior Sergeant Steve Trewavas from the missing persons squad said that he was "clearly met with foul play". "What is still unclear is exactly who was involved and why," Trewavas said, according to the news outlets.
"We're hoping that this appeal leads to someone coming forward and doing the right thing; it can be done anonymously so that we can hold those responsible to account."
