‘It’s not funny’: Jules Neale slams Brisbane Lions after club posts crying video of her 4-year-old daughter
Jules Neale criticized the Brisbane Lions for sharing an Instagram video of their daughter Piper appearing distressed before Lachie Neale's 300th game. The now-deleted clip, captioned 'our shy queen,' showed Piper visibly scared, prompting Jules t...

The now-deleted post had shown Piper appearing nervous before Lachie’s milestone match against the Melbourne Demons at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). The Lions captioned the clip as “our shy queen", in which Lachie, 32, asks Piper, “Are you excited to run onto the ground tomorrow? Are you?”
In the clip, Piper shook her head no; reacting to it, Lachie laughed and pulled her into a hug.
The video then cut to footage from game day, where Piper was seen being carried across the MCG by her father as he prepared to celebrate his 300th game with an honour guard before later running through a banner with teammates.
Piper appeared overwhelmed by the large crowd and spectacle, covering her face with her hands and crying in Lachie’s arms. He tried to comfort her before eventually handing her to a staff member.
The incident comes months after the breakdown of Lachie and Jules Neale’s marriage. The AFL player, 32, and Jules, 36, separated last December after Jules claimed she had been “betrayed in the most unimaginable way”, amid widespread rumours surrounding their relationship.
It was alleged that the betrayal involved an affair between Lachie and her former best friend Tess Crosley, who had been married to Lachie’s friend Ben Crosley. Since then, Jules has moved back to Perth with their children.
