The car driver, who was driving a Holden Cruze sedan, was charged and rushed to hospital after allegedly striking the group of motorbike riders. Following the road rage incident, the group allegedly chased him down.

The 49-year-old man drove away but was followed by several dirt bike riders and was allegedly assaulted at a nearby Speedway petrol station in Bass Hill, as reported by 9News. Police were informed that a Holden Cruze sedan mowed down a group of motorbike riders at about 8:30 pm.

The news outlet also reported that the driver allegedly left the petrol station and drove to a nearby shopping centre car park, where he crashed into a fire hydrant. He then fled before officers arrived, police said.
