Australian TV star Grant Denyer taken to hospital with 'shoulder injury' after multi-car crash at Mount Panorama Circuit
Australian TV personality Grant Denyer has been hospitalised after a three-car crash at Mount Panorama during the Bathurst 6 Hour race. Denyer's Chevrolet Camaro collided with another car while attempting an overtake, leading to a chain reaction. ...

Denyer crashed during overtaking
As per News Corp Australia, the 48-year-old Deal or No Deal host was attempting to overtake Richard Barram in the white Volkswagen four hours into the Bathurst 6 Hour when the pair made contact just after Griffins Bend, sending them both veering out of control.
Barrum’s car then careened into a stationary Mazda driven by Matt Kiss, while Denyer’s Camaro slammed into a concrete barricade before coming to rest on the opposite side of the track.

Yellow flag in place at time of incident
That portion of the track was under a yellow flag at the time due to Kiss’s stranded Mazda, who was not injured in the accident, reported the outlet.
The impact destroyed the front of Barram's car, while Denyer's front left tyre was ripped away as both vehicles came to rest on the right of the circuit, noted the Daily Mail.
Drivers taken to hospital
Two men in their 40s were taken to Orange Hospital following the incident, news corp australia reported citing an NSW Ambulance spokesperson.
Denyer was taken in a stable condition with a ‘shoulder injury', while Barram was treated for leg and rib injuries.
Denyer has a long history of crashes and injuries in Aussie motorsport. In 2017, he was involved in a near-fatal car accident. He suffered a serious back injury when a monster truck promotional event went badly wrong in 2008.
