Air France-KLM chief rejects Alitalia unions' proposals

Air France-KLM chief Jean-Cyril Spinetta on Wednesday rejected counter-proposals by Alitalia unions on terms of his takeover bid for the Italian carrier and left the negotiating table, a union official said.

ROME: Air France-KLM chief Jean-Cyril Spinetta on Wednesday rejected counter-proposals by Alitalia unions on terms of his takeover bid for the Italian carrier and left the negotiating table, a union official said.

"Mr. Spinetta rejected the proposal and left the negotiations," Guido Barcucci of the FILT-CGIL union told reporters.
