"The WBG has helped make India's MSMEs more bankable by working with the government of India on market reforms and by validating new credit structures with private capital. Since 2022, the WBG has invested more than $3.5 billion alongside private partners and mobilised over $9.6 billion for MSMEs," it said in a statement.
The group has announced record private capital mobilisation for developing countries, mobilising more private capital in fiscal year 2026 than in any year in its history.
