The Centre is working on educational reforms to "remove roadblocks" in the way of the youth's progress, PM Modi said at an interaction with innovators at the grand finale of the 'Smart India Hackathon (SIH)'. Commending the youth for the sentiment of ownership towards finding solutions for the country's challenges, the PM said the future of the world will be driven by such ownership, innovation and knowledge.

Earlier, education minister Dharmendra Pradhan inaugurated the 7th edition of SIH.

The hackathon is looking at over 259 problem statements ranging from subjects as diverse as 'Enhancing Images of Darker Regions on the Moon' presented by ISRO, to 'Developing a real-time Ganga Water Quality Monitoring system using AI.
