The Tamil Nadu govt will soon be putting an end to online gambling, said Chief Minister MK Stalin during Assembly question-and-answer session on Thursday. Stalin also explained that cases related to online games are pending in court.

The query was raised by Opposition AIADMK member V Vaithilingam.

Yesterday, PMK founder S Ramadoss urged the Tamil Nadu government to ban online gambling so that news regarding suicides related to money problems does not become 'like a daily weather report.'

According to Ramadoss, during the past four days there have been two suicides and one robbery that are attributed to loss of money in online gambling.

An all-party meeting will be held the day after tomorrow on the NEET exam issue, Stalin added.
