‘Will approach Supreme Court’: Tejpal gets 10-year jail in 2013 case, alleges political vendetta

Tehelka founder Tarun Tejpal has been sentenced to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment and fined ₹5 lakh in the 2013 sexual assault case. After the verdict, Tejpal said he would approach the Supreme Court and alleged political vendetta. Goa Police said he has been given two weeks to surrender before serving his sentence.
