Rescue operation turns risky
Following complaints from villagers, a forest department team reached Sirsouli village to trap the wild boars. Officials began laying nets while some team members tried to steer the animal towards the trap. During the operation, a wild boar suddenly turned aggressive and attacked forest inspector Shivam Pratap Singh.The animal knocked him to the ground and continued the attack, catching the team off guard.
Viral video shows desperate attempts to save officer
The video from the spot shows two people hitting the wild boar with sticks to protect the officer. Despite repeated blows, the boar continued to attack, appearing largely unaffected. The officer can be seen struggling on the ground as the animal keeps charging at him.After sustained efforts, people present at the scene managed to pull the officer away from the animal. He suffered several injuries in the attack and was immediately taken to hospital for treatment. Officials said he is now out of danger.
People present at the scene said the attack happened without warning. They said that the boar kept attacking and clawing at the officer while he tried hard to escape and protect himself.
