Western Railway launches massive anti-encroachment drive in Mumbai’s Bandra East till May 23
Western Railway began a large-scale anti-encroachment and demolition drive at Garib Nagar near Bandra East railway station in Mumbai after receiving clearance from the Bombay High Court. The operation, expected to continue till May 23, is being carried out with support from civic authorities, Mumbai Police, RPF and GRP amid heavy security and protests from residents.
