During his visit to the United States, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin took a break from his busy schedule with an evening bicycle ride. The video of Stalin cycling against a sunset sky has garnered over 305,400 views on X, formerly Twitter, along with thousands of likes and comments. Stalin arrived in Chicago from San Francisco on Tuesday to attend an investors' conclave. Over the next 10 days, he will participate in discussions with investors and meet with the Tamil diaspora. On September 7, Stalin is scheduled to engage with the Tamil community in the city.

Stalin's US Visit and Investment Achievements

MK Stalin is in the US to attract investment for Tamil Nadu. Recently, he secured a ₹400 crore investment from Ohmium for a project in Chengalpattu district, which is expected to create nearly 500 jobs. Stalin described this deal as crucial for the state's economic growth and green energy sector. He stated on X, “Another successful day in San Francisco! We’ve secured a Rs400 crore investment from Ohmium in Chengalpattu district, creating 500 jobs. This marks a significant step in nurturing the ecosystem for green energy production and fuelling a sustainable future!”

Partnerships and Future Plans

During his visit, Stalin met with executives from Apple, Google, and Microsoft, discussing investment and partnership opportunities. On the second day of his trip, he signed an agreement with Google to skill two million youngsters in Tamil Nadu in artificial intelligence under the 'Naan Mudhalvan' scheme. The Chief Minister called the visit to these tech giants' offices “awe-inspiring.” The pact aims to support startups, MSMEs, and the rural economy, preparing the youth for future challenges.


Health Concerns Addressed

The video of Stalin cycling appears to address recent criticisms about his health. Several state politicians, including DMDK General Secretary Premalatha Vijayakant, have questioned his well-being. By sharing the video, Stalin aimed to demonstrate his fitness and reassure the public about his health.
