PM Narendra Modi recently shared his emotional experience of witnessing the historic Surya Tilak ceremony on Ram Navami at the Ayodhya Ram Mandir. Posting images of him watching the video of Ram Lalla's Surya Tilak, PM Modi expressed his profound sentiments, describing the occasion as a significant moment for him and millions of Indians.

"After my Nalbari rally, I watched the Surya Tilak on Ram Lalla. Like crores of Indians, this is a very emotional moment for me. The grand Ram Navami in Ayodhya is historic. May this Surya Tilak bring energy to our lives and may it inspire our nation to scale new heights of glory," PM Modi wrote on X.

He emphasised the historic importance of the grand Ram Navami celebrations in Ayodhya and wished for the Surya Tilak to bring energy and inspiration to the nation.



"Like crores of Indians, this is a very emotional moment for me. The grand Ram Navami in Ayodhya is historic. May this Surya Tilak bring energy to our lives and may it inspire our nation to scale new heights of glory," he added.

Earlier, during a public rally in Assam's Nalbari, PM Modi had encouraged the audience to join him in paying homage to Lord Ram by illuminating their mobile phone flashlights. He passionately urged everyone to chant "Jai Shree Ram" and participate in the Surya Tilak ceremony, symbolising reverence and devotion.

The Surya Tilak ceremony, held at noon, involved the precise placement of lenses and mirrors to illuminate the forehead of the Ram Lalla idol. Lasting for about 2.5 to 3 minutes, the ceremony was accompanied by prayers and aarti conducted by temple priests at the Ayodhya Ram Mandir.
