Watch Madhya Pradesh tea seller celebrate TVS moped purchase with DJ and JCB procession

A tea seller in Madhya Pradesh marked a significant purchase in an unusual way. Murari Lal Kushwaha, a resident of Shivpuri, recently purchased a moped. To celebrate, he spent Rs 60,000 on DJ services and hired a JCB to elevate the new vehicle for display to family and friends, as reported by the Times of India.

Kushwaha, who sells tea, bought the moped with a loan, making a down payment of Rs 20,000. Despite the cost of celebrations being three times the vehicle's down payment, he included a DJ-led procession. The moped was placed on a decorated buggy, and a JCB was used to lift it, enhancing its visibility.

According to Kushwaha, the celebration was primarily for his children. "I am happy that I provide for my family. Every celebration is a way to bring joy to my kids," he said. He has two sons, Ram and Shyam, and a daughter, Priyanka.


The festivities started from his home with DJ music and dancing, continuing to the showroom where he adorned the moped with garlands and took selfies. The event attracted not only family but also passersby.

However, the celebration attracted police attention. Authorities seized the DJ equipment and filed a noise complaint against Kushwaha and the DJ operator. This was not Kushwaha's first grand celebration; three years ago, he spent Rs 25,000 to celebrate buying a Rs 12,500 mobile for his daughter.

By making milestones memorable, Kushwaha aims to bring joy to his family, despite the expenses involved.
