‘Want India by our side’: Sergio Gor on US-India moon mission, co-creation at Bengaluru Space Expo

US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor outlined an ambitious vision for the growing US-India space partnership at the Bengaluru Space Expo 2026. Gor said the relationship is moving beyond cooperation towards ‘co-creation’, with both countries working on technologies, startups and future space missions. He highlighted NASA’s invitation to ISRO to join the Moon base programme and said the US wants India by its side on the lunar surface. Gor also backed deeper collaboration on space governance and opened the American market to Indian space entrepreneurs, saying ‘not even the sky is the limit.’
