Viral Video: Teenager forced to lick shoes in Madhya Pradesh after fight during a Dussehra procession, 4 booked

Four people have been booked for allegedly forcing a 17-year-old boy to lick one of their shoes and then kicking him in Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh, an official said on Wednesday.

The incident occurred on Tuesday in the Chhatrasal Nagar area of Chhatarpur city. According to Civil Line police station in-charge Valmiki Choube, the case was filed based on the complaint of the victim, a Class 11 student, and his family. The FIR was registered under sections 296 (obscene act) and 115 (2) (causing hurt to any person) of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS).

The victim reported that he was beaten up and made to lick the shoes of one of the accused. This followed an altercation during a Dussehra procession. A video of the incident shows the boy licking the shoes and being kicked in the face afterward.


The police are currently searching for the accused.
