A video surfaced on social media, capturing PM Modi blessing the newlyweds inside the temple.
Draped in a traditional ‘mundu’ (dhoti), kurta and a white shawl, PM Modi greeted devotees with folded hands.
The video concludes with the Prime Minister presenting a varmala to the newlywed couple, who seek his blessings after exchanging garlands.

"It was early in the morning but people in Guruvayur came in large numbers to bless me. I cherish this warmth and it motivates me to work even harder for the people," he said.
He visited the Sreekrishna Temple in Guruvayur, where he offered prayers, presented ghee, and lotus flowers at the Sopanam.
"Prayed at the sacred Guruvayur Temple. The divine energy of this Temple is immense. I prayed that every Indian be happy and prosperous," PM Modi wrote on X (formerly known as twitter).
The Guruvayur Devaswom, dedicated to Lord Guruvayurappan, is a significant Hindu pilgrimage site, often referred to as Bhuloka Vaikuntham, signifying the Holy Abode of Vishnu on Earth.

These major infrastructure projects are in line with the Prime Minister's vision to transform India's ports, shipping, and waterways sectors and build capacity and self-sufficiency in it.
With the commissioning of these 3 projects, the nation's shipbuilding and repair capacities, as well as the growth of energy infrastructure, including ancillary industries, will get a boost. The projects will also boost EXIM trade, reduce logistics costs, drive economic growth, build self-reliance and create numerous domestic and international business opportunities.
This is the second visit of the PM to Kerala in the span of two weeks.
