Viral Video: Man abducted for wedding, bride says it's not 'Pakadua Vivah' but a natural progression of their 4-year relationship

According to TOI, Avnish Kumar, 28, a government school teacher in Lakshmipur village, reported that he was snatched on Friday morning while going to school in an e-rickshaw. His alleged abduction tale involves two SUVs intercepting him on his way to work and dragging him to a temple for the rituals.
Avnish said, "I was travelling to school when two SUVs intercepted me. The girl’s family abducted me and forced me into marriage at a temple."
But then enters the plot twist. The bride, Gunjan, 25, wasn’t buying the "forced marriage" narrative. She came out with her version, claiming this wasn’t abduction but the natural progression of a four-year-long relationship. Yep, four years of dating and suddenly this story turned into a kidnapping saga.
Gunjan explained to TOI, "We had been in a relationship for years. Avnish recently took me to Katihar, and when my family found out, they decided to formalise things by arranging a temple wedding."
Now the internet’s divided. Some are siding with Avnish, seeing this as the ultimate forced wedding nightmare. Others are just here for the drama, excited by this wild tale of love, abduction, and temple nuptials.
At the end of the day, one thing’s clear: Avnish’s morning commute is never going to be the same again.
