Viral video: 23-year-old Indore woman dies of heart attack while dancing at her cousin's wedding

A 23-year-old woman died after collapsing while dancing at a wedding in Vidisha, Madhya Pradesh, on Saturday. Parinita Jain, from Indore, was attending her cousin’s wedding at a resort when the incident occurred. She was dancing on stage during the ‘haldi’ ceremony when she suddenly collapsed.

Video captures the moment

A viral video circulating on social media shows Parinita dancing on stage during the 'haldi' ceremony, performing to the Bollywood song "Lehra Ke Balkha Ke." The footage then shows her suddenly collapsing on stage.



Parinita was immediately rushed to a private hospital after the collapse. However, doctors declared her dead shortly after her arrival.

Parinita Jain, an MBA graduate, lived with her parents in Indore's South Tukoganj. Tragically, her younger brother had also died of a heart attack when he was just 12 years old, according to official sources.

The incident, which was brought to public attention through the viral video, has sparked widespread shock and condolences across social media.

Here are some recent incidents when young people died due to sudden heart attack.

In October of last year, a 15-year-old boy died of a heart attack while playing cricket in Agar-Malwa district. Also in Madhya Pradesh, a 73-year-old man collapsed and died while dancing at a yoga program in Indore.

In Telangana, 16-year-old girl in Mahabubnagar district collapsed and died while performing at her school farewell function.

Andhra Pradesh Kommalapati Saikumar, a 28-year-old software engineer from Angaluru village in the Krishna district, collapsed while playing cricket. Mohan Kumar, a 26-year-old police aspirant from Guntur, suffered a fatal cardiac arrest during a 1,600-meter sprint in a physical test in Sept 2023. In March of last year, a 15-year-old girl from Korrapadu village, Kadapa, collapsed after her SSC examination and died of cardiac arrest.
