Vijay Kadam, renounced Marathi cinema actor, dies after prolonged battle with cancer

Vijay Kadam, a renowned actor in Marathi cinema, passed away early Saturday morning at the age of 67. Kadam had been battling cancer for the past one and a half years. His loss has shocked the Marathi entertainment industry. He is survived by his wife and son, and his cremation will take place this afternoon at the Andheri-Oshiwara crematorium.

Kadam’s death has created a significant void in the Marathi entertainment industry, where his exceptional talent for portraying diverse characters was well recognized. He gained real recognition for his work on stage from the 1980s to the 1990s and was a significant presence in theatre for a long time.
