The traffic situation of Bengaluru often makes into social media. This week only many netizens shared photos of traffic congestion in the city after rains. But another video is going viral on social media: A fleet of Ferraris stuck in the slow-moving traffic. India's Silicon Valley has been ranked second slowest city in the world when it comes to traffic, according to TomTom, a Dutch location tech company, with motorists covering just 10 km distance in 29 minutes and 10 seconds in the city.

Since being shared on Instagram, the video has been liked by over 2.5 lakh users. Ashneer Grover, BharatPe founder and a former shark on Shark Tank India, also reacted to the video, commenting: "More line Bengaluru takes down Ferrari ! I feel the pain of having so many horses and being stuck in traffic."

Some netizens sympathized with the Ferrari owners. "Imagine spending 6 Cr just to be stuck in traffic with the rest of b'lore i think it may be some car rally or some event like this n got stuck in traffic," said an user.

"Kya fayda aisi car ka...jab 2 km jaane me tmhe b 2.5 ghnte lge," another said.

Some users were happy to see the sight of so many Ferraris on Bengaluru roads. Another user said "just a normal day in Bangalore."

Last month, Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar said a 190 km long tunnel has been proposed to ease traffic congestion in the city. The deputy chief minister also holds the Bengaluru City Development portfolio.

"We have proposed 190 km for now. Bellary Road, Old Madras Road, Esteem Mall Junction to Mekhri Circle, Miller Road, Chalukya Circle, Trinity Circle, Sarjapur Road, Hosur Road, Kanakapura Road to Krishna Rao Park, Mysore Road to Sirsi Circle, Magadi Road, Tumakuru Road to Yeshwantpur Junction, Outer Ring Road, Goraguntepalya, KR Puram, Silk Board areas have been identified. We have selected these areas on priority basis. The companies are going to study where and how this tunnel road can be made," he said.
