Vibrant Gujarat Summit: PM Modi unveils 25-year vision, pledges to make India a developed nation

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday unveiled India's 25-year goal, propelling the nation towards developed nation status by 2047, aligning with the centenary celebration of independence.

PM Modi, reflecting on India's global influence through its G20 Presidency, emphasized the country's priorities, aspirations, and commitment to human-centric development and equality. He underscored India's focus on sustainable development, infrastructure, new-age skills, artificial intelligence, and innovation as key pillars of this transformative vision.

Highlighting India's economic trajectory, PM Modi stated, "Today, India is the world's fifth-largest economy. Ten years ago, we were at 11. Every rating agency expects India, in the next few years, to be among the top three economies in the world." This optimistic projection positions India as a major player in the global economic landscape.


The Prime Minister applauded the robust India-UAE relations, noting the strong belief and support of UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed. He expressed joy at Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed's participation as the chief guest at the Vibrant Gujarat Summit, symbolizing the strengthening ties between India and the UAE.

"The world looks at India as an important pillar of stability; a friend who can be trusted, a partner who believes in people's centric development, a voice that believes in global good, and a voice of the global south," he said.
