Among the tourists who were in the tempo traveller that fell into a gorge in Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand were six flat mates residing in Noida Sector 51. As many as four women from the flat have died and the other two are severely injured.

The flat mates, in their 20s and 30s, worked in different firms in the city. The dead were identified as Mohini Pandey (27), Smriti Sharma (28), Nikita Bhatt (26), and Anjali Srivastava (27). The two injured were Vandana Sharma (30) and Shubham Singh (27).\



The accident on Sunday claimed 15 lives and 11 others were injured. The injured were sent to the local district hospital and the criticlly injured were admitted into AIIMS Rishikesh. Rescue teams were called on the spot after the Tempo traveller skidded off the road and fell into a groge.
