Uttar Pradesh student shoots college principal after being scolded

Gurinder Singh, a student of Adarsh Ramswaroop Inter College, shot his principal - Ram Singh Verma - twice after the latter chastised him for quarreling with one of his peers.

The Uttar Pradesh town of Sitapur was witness to a shocking incident on Saturday when a school student shot his principal following a disagreement.

Gurinder Singh, a student of Adarsh Ramswaroop Inter College, shot his principal - Ram Singh Verma - twice after the latter chastised him for quarreling with one of his peers.

Additional Superintendent of Police, Sitapur, N P Singh told PTI that the incident was caught on CCTV camera and the principal has been referred to Lucknow for further treatment.


Singh is absconding and efforts are on to trace him.
