US National Security Adviser Michael Waltz is expected to visit India from April 21 to 23 to put in place the 'Trust' initiative for partnership in areas of high technology, critical minerals and export controls.

Trust, an acronym for Transforming the Relationship Utilising Strategic Technology, was announced last month following the summit between PM Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump.

Waltz and NSA Ajit K Doval will unveil cooperation under the Trust initiative that will catalyse government-to-government, academia and private sector collaboration to promote application of critical and emerging technologies in areas like defence, artificial intelligence, semiconductors, quantum, and biotechnology.
