The body of a youth preparing for UPSC was found in the bushes in the Mukherjee Nagar area of North West Delhi, officials said.

As per the initial investigation, police are considering it a suicide.

According to the police, no suicide note has been found yet, due to which the reason for the suicide has not been revealed as of now.


The youth had been missing for the last ten days, the police said.

After getting information about the missing youth, police started searching for him and recovered his body from near the bushes in the Mukherjee Nagar area on Friday.

Police said that there are bushes near the Dussehra ground in the Mukherjee Nagar area and the young man had committed suicide by hanging himself in the the bushes.

The youth was originally from Rajasthan, said police.

Further investigation is underway.
