To initiate the programme, ministers and MPs will take part in the Tiranga Yatra, a bike rally, on Friday morning starting from Pragati Maidan to Kartavya Path in Delhi.
Following PM Modi's suggestion, the central government plans to launch a three-day 'Har Ghar Tiranga' programme starting August 13. Modi, in his Mann ki Baat, had appealed to people to hoist the national flag in their houses starting August 13.

To initiate the programme, ministers and MPs will take part in the Tiranga Yatra, a bike rally, on Friday morning starting from Pragati Maidan to Kartavya Path in Delhi.

"Taking the concept of 'Har Ghar Tiranga' to the next level and further to the call of Prime Minister Modi Ji, MPs will participate in a bike rally from Pragati Maidan to Major Dhyan Chand Stadium," Union culture minister G Kishan Reddy, told ET. "I have invited all the MPs to participate in the yatra. We are appealing to the people to participate in the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' programme and hoist the national flag for three days from August 13 to August 15."
