According to the officials, the anonymous letter allegedly threatening Singh’s life was received on Thursday at the minister’s office in New Delhi.

Nagar police station SHO Satish Kumar Himanshu had earlier confirmed the incident.
Police said the letter carried the message, “You will be killed shortly by hardcore terrorists.”
The Union minister was informed of the incident by his private secretary, following which Singh asked Begusarai Town police station to register a case, the officials said.

They further said investigators were trying to establish the source of the letter as well as the motive behind it.
