Union Home Minister Amit Shah's visit to Jammu on Tuesday has been deferred due to inclement weather in the region.

During the proposed visit, Shah was scheduled to attend the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Jammu and inaugurate projects worth Rs 1,379 crore, including e-buses in Jammu city, and lay the foundation stone of projects worth Rs 2,348 crore.

The Union home minister was also scheduled to undertake a review of the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir.
