‘Udaipur Files’ screening stayed by Delhi HC, govt asked to decide certification in 7 days
The Delhi High Court stayed the release of “Udaipur Files: Kanhaiya Lal Tailor Murder” following a plea by Jamiat Ulema-i-Hind challenging its CBFC certification. Producer Amit Jani and Kanhaiya Lal’s family slammed the decision, questioning how a film was stayed in three days while justice in the murder case remains pending even after three years.
