The brand already operates in countries including Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Ghana, Somalia, and Mauritius.
The UAE entry is part of UClean’s target of over 1,000 outlets globally over the next 18 months. The company currently operates nearly 700 stores in India and serves over 2 million customers annually across 200 cities worldwide.
“Our entry into the UAE is more than a geographical expansion—it represents the acceptance of an Indian-origin brand on the global stage,” said Arunabh Sinha, Founder & CEO of UClean.
The global franchise market, valued at around USD 160 billion in 2023, is projected to cross USD 250 billion by 2031. UClean aims to capture a significant share of this growth by creating business opportunities for local entrepreneurs through its scalable and proven model.
Founded in 2017 by Arunabh Sinha and Gunjan Taneja, UClean has raised around $1.6 million from investors including Franchise India Holdings, Rajiv Jalan, and US-based angel investor Anubhav Chopra. Bollywood actors Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Khemu are also among its early brand partners.
With its UAE entry, UClean is now focusing on strengthening its Middle East presence while simultaneously eyeing underserved markets in Africa and South Asia.
