"India has always been at the forefront of extending help to the world, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, and this time also the world needs assistance," group CEO of Trivitron Healthcare, Chandra Ganjoo, said in a statement.
Medical devices company Trivitron Healthcare on Friday said it has developed a real-time PCR-based kit for detection of the monkeypox virus. Researchers across the world are working to understand the epidemiology, sources of its spread, and patterns of transmission of the virus as several cases of monkeypox have been reported - so far in 20 countries - since May 13. The WHO had on Thursday urged countries to increase surveillance for the infectious disease.
