Today's weather update: Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Kolkata likely to receive light rainfall; Delhi to remain cool

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted light to moderate rainfall with possibility of heavy rain in parts of Mumbai on Tuesday. The temperature in the city will hover between 22 degree Celsius and 25 degree Celsius.

National capital Delhi will see clear skies with cool temperatures on Tuesday. The temperature will range from 11 degree Celsius to 19 degree Celsius.



Further, Chennai is also expected to receive light showers due to the low pressure area created in the Bay of Bengal. The minimum temperature is likely to be recorded at 24 degree Celsius and the maximum would touch 28 degree Celsius.

Bengaluru, too, will remain cloudy throughout the day with a chance of light rain. The temperature will remain pleasant, with maximum temperature at 26 degree Celsius and minimum temperature at 17 degree Celsius.


Hyderabad will experience dry weather with moderate temperature ranging form 21 degree Celsius and 28 degree Celsius.


Kolkata is predicted to have cloudy skies with a forecast of scattered rain throughout the day. Temperature is likely to vary from 18 degree Celsius to 26 degree Celsius.
