TN: Heavy rain lashes parts of Tiruchirappalli, waterlogging reported in several areas

Tiruchirappalli (TN): Heavy rainfall lashed several parts of Tiruchirappalli, causing waterlogging and disruption in daily life. The city received a significant amount of rainfall, leaving many areas inundated. The rain has caused widespread waterlogging, with several roads and low-lying areas submerged under water. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a weather alert, forecasting light to moderate rain across Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal, along with thunderstorms and lightning at isolated spots.
