TMC MLA’s ‘Babri Masjid’ claim sparks political storm ; BJP calls move “appeasement politics”
A Trinamool Congress MLA’s claim that he will lay the foundation for a “Babri Masjid” in Murshidabad on December 6 has triggered a political firestorm in West Bengal. Posters appeared across the district ahead of the proposed event. BJP leaders called the move appeasement. TMC distanced itself from him. Congress backed the right to build a mosque.
