Mumbai: The Mumbai Police Crime Branch has arrested three more accused from Sonipat, Haryana, and taken custody of four accused arrested by the Delhi Police Special Cell in connection with the October 18 firing incident targeting Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff in Juhu, taking the total number of arrests in the case to 10. The three newly arrested accused have been identified as Sameer, Jatin and Ankit Khatak. Meanwhile, on Wednesday, the police produced the three alleged shooters before a local court and sought their custody for further interrogation. The court remanded them to police custody till October 31.

According to investigators, Sameer allegedly acted as a coordinator between Anil Pandit and shooter Rehan. He was in online contact with Pandit and allegedly relayed his instructions directly to Rehan. Investigators suspect that Sameer also provided funds to the shooters and coordinated arrangements for them, including the supply of weapons.

Minutes after the firing, the Lawrence Bishnoi gang allegedly claimed responsibility for the attack through a social media post. A man identifying himself as Anil Pandit claimed to be speaking on behalf of the gang and appeared to take responsibility for the attack. The police suspected that he had been coordinating with Sameer through messaging apps.
