Three teenager on scooter killed in accident in UP while trying to save a stray dog

In a shocking incident, three teenage friends, aged between 16-17 years, met with a devastating accident on the busy Delhi-Nainital National Highway-87 near Rampur city in Uttar Pradesh. The tragic incident occurred on Monday morning when they were trying to save a stray dog that suddenly appeared on their path while riding a scooty.

The boys, identified as Syed Zayaan, Mohd Ahad, and Mohd Umair, were riding the two-wheeler without valid licenses and without wearing helmets. The lack of protective gear further escalated the severity of the crash. After swerving dangerously to avoid the stray dog, the scooty collided with a roadside divider, leading to critical head injuries for all three teenagers.

Promptly, they were rushed to a nearby hospital; however, two of them were pronounced "dead upon arrival." The third teenager succumbed to his injuries half an hour later. The incident took place near Bilaspur Gate under Civil Lines limits, and the boys hailed from Rampur's Ganj locality. As close friends, they used often spent time together and, on that fateful day, Mohd Ahad and Mohd Umair had offered to drop Syed Zayaan to school on their bike.


Local witnesses expressed admiration for the boys' attempt to save the stray dog, but sadly, the situation rapidly spiraled out of control, leading to the tragic accident. ASP (Rampur), Sansaar Singh, confirmed the severity of the injuries and the subsequent loss of lives.
