Three people including a cadre of militant out Dimasa National Liberation Army (DNLA) were killed in designated camp in Assam's Dima Hasao district.

A senior police officer, who do not want to be named told ET, " The surrendered militants who are in ceasefire on Sunday kidnaped six local youths. Villagers lodged complaint with the police. Police found two bodies in the camp. "

The official said, " The youths were beaten up. Five injured DNLA cadres were also kept in a separate room of the designated camp.

five DNLA militants including one of their leaders are arrested."

Around 50 cadres of the DNLA outfit had come overground recently.

The militant group had declared a unilateral ceasefire on September this year.
