PM Modi hails this year's Budget, says it will infuse new energy to India's development trajectory

PM Modi delivered his thoughts on the Union Budget 2023–24 following the announcement of the Budget on Wednesday. He said that this is a growth oriented budget which will give India's development trajectory fresh life.

"First budget of Amrit Kaal will build a strong foundation for building a developed India. This budget will fulfil dreams of aspirational society including poor people, middle-class people, farmers," PM said.

He continued that those toiling traditionally through their hands for the country, 'Vishvakarma' are the creators of this country.


"For the first time scheme related to training & support for 'Vishvakarma' has been brought in the budget," he added.

Touching on various aspects of the budget, he said success of digital payments has to be replicated in the agriculture sector and a scheme has been brought for laying down digital infrastructure for it.

Moreover, he highlighted that an unprecedented investment of Rs 10 lakh crore in infrastructure will give speed and new energy to development.

As per PM, Government has taken several steps to make the lives of women, in rural & urban areas, easy.

Inorder to empower women in households, PM said special savings scheme will be started.
