Actor Politician gives her Best Shot
SP’s Gorakhpur candidate, Bhojpuri actress Kaajal Nishad, was at her histrionic best when she appealed to voters from her Nishad community to extend their support to her. In a video she posted on social media platforms, Nishad was seen shedding tears while seeking the “gift of vote” on June 1, which also happens to be her birthday. “If this time, you do not save the prestige of the Nishad community, then in future no one will trust a Nishad... No one will give a ticket to a Nishad,” she was seen telling the community.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi kept a keen eye on people in the first few rows in every rally he addressed. On some occasions, he acknowledged sketches and paintings from his young supporters. He often expressed concern during his speech over any enthusiastic supporter placing himself precariously on some high pole or platform.
