Third civilian killed in Jammu and Kashmir in 10 days

On Monday evening, suspected militants fatally shot Mohammad Razaq, a government employee, in the Shadra Sharief area of Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district as he exited a local masjid. Razaq's brother serves in the territorial army.

Srinagar: Suspected militants shot dead government employee Mohammad Razaq in Shadra Sharief area of J&K's Rajouri on Monday evening when he came out of a local masjid. His brother works in the territorial army.

"We heard two gunshots and saw him lying in a pool of blood. He was shot from close range," an eye witness told journalists.
