Tesla opens second India showroom in Delhi, launches Model Y SUV starting at ₹60 lakh

US EV giant Tesla inaugurated its second India showroom in Delhi on August 11, following its debut outlet launch in Mumbai’s Maker Maxity Mall on July 15. Tesla officially entered India’s auto market with the Model Y SUV, offered in two rear-wheel-drive variants priced at ₹60 lakh and ₹68 lakh (ex-showroom). The Model Y features heated and ventilated seats, advanced driver-assistance systems, and supports Tesla’s supercharging technology. Initial deliveries will begin in Mumbai, Delhi, and Gurugram in Q3 2025, marking Tesla’s major push into India’s growing EV sector.
