The State Investigation Agency (SIA) of Jammu and Kashmir carried out raids at the residences of eleven terror associates and overground workers (OGWs) across multiple districts in the Kashmir Valley, officials said on Saturday.

The coordinated searches were conducted in Srinagar, Ganderbal, Baramulla, Sopore, Kupwara, and Handwara. These operations were authorised by a competent court and carried out in the presence of Executive Magistrates, ensuring due legal process.

According to officials, the individuals targeted in the raids are allegedly in direct contact with terrorists based in Pakistan. They are suspected of facilitating and supporting terror-related activities within the region.

"The searches are part of a broader crackdown on support networks operating for Pakistan-based terrorists in the Valley," an official familiar with the matter said.

Authorities have not disclosed if any arrests or seizures were made during the raids.
